    REST API

    The API is plain HTTP and JSON, so any HTTP client works. Authenticate with an API key, then read and manage your applications from your own scripts and internal tools.

    MCP server

    Connect MCP-compatible assistants such as Claude and Cursor to your Obsidyan account at https://obsidyan.ai/api/mcp, using the same API key.

    Safe by default

    Keys are stored as hashes and shown once. New keys are read-only unless you grant write access, and every query runs under row-level security, so a key only reaches your own data.

    Is there an official SDK?
    Not yet. The API is plain HTTP and JSON, so any HTTP client works.
    Can an AI agent change my data?
    Only if you give its API key write access. Keys are read-only by default.
